The Story of Rose's Rebirth Continues
We started this on June 1 2012, after a series of very serious weather events, we finally got back to the project. Ron Fortner and 'Squeak' Sharps returned and we removed the old cross member and began installing a new Hub to hub Stage 3 from Fatman Fabrications..
We got the old 4" drop axle hub to hub setup out from under the truck with it's split wish bones.
This week Monday July 16 and Thursday July 19 we made good progress. After removing the old cross member we started installing the new one.
Ron Fortner brought his stick welder down and did a H*ll of a job boxing the frame rails, securing the new crossmember and shock brackets to the frame.

Ron wanted an "action Shot" of his welding skills.....
First Mock up of the new polished stainless 'A' arms, new power rack and pinion set etc.
