The Story of Rose's Rebirth Continues
We started this on June 1 2012, after a series of very serious weather events, we finally got back to the project. Ron Fortner and 'Squeak' Sharps returned and we removed the old cross member and began installing a new Hub to hub Stage 3 from Fatman Fabrications..
We've spent the last 3 or 4 weeks taking two steps forward and one step back, but today (Sept. 12, 2012) we started catching up.
Here's a second photo with the motor mounts finished and the motor buttoned up.
The ole '41 is definitely on her way back !!
It doesn't look like much....but all the heater hoses, the carburator, some of the steering and transmission issues are complete. Yes, those are PINK plug wires draped over the 'front Runner' system.
All those exterior shots, we're working on things from the inside too.

We finally got to mock the radiator position up today.
The front clip RETURNS !! We got the clip back on, the wiring reconnected,and several steps closer to on the road !
