The build plan for this project was to replace the old Ford inline 6 engine with an LSx 5.3 (2004 Suburban) and a 4L60E automatic overdrive transmission replacing the 3 Speed manual. Keeping and highly modifying the original frame by replacing the front end with a Fatman Fabrications Mustang 2 style with rack and pinion steering went out the window when we found a 2002 Chevy Tahoe frame and suspension at a great price. We will still be installing Ridetech E5 all around.
